Electrospinning Technology

Electrospinning is considered as a promising renewable energy technology for a sustainable economic growth. It is an efficient fabrication method for one dimensional nanostructured fiber of metal, hydrocarbons, composites ..etc. The investigation in the field of various nanomaterial production have been came into some level of maturation especially after the development of novel and modified electrospinning systems. These systems consisting basic components such as a high voltage electrostatic generator (1-30 kV), a spinning head and a collector for the process of producing a variety of continuous nanofiber assemblies with controlled morphology and dimensions from polymer solutions or melts under a high voltage electric field. By the help of these techniques, a wide variety of nanofibers have been produced with many different polymers and biopolymers. Even though, a huge amount of information has been collected to produce nanofiber from different origins with different additives, the usability of these nanomaterials is mostly limited to quite specific areas, filtration, tissue engineering and packaging. Therefore, the invention of innovative nanofiber-based materials is needed for expanding the applications area to cosmetic. Our company fulfill this gap by adapting electrospinning system to encapsulating active ingredient in nanofiber structure for skin regeneration purposes.
